I marked it down due to the difficulty in adding it to the app
I marked it down because I had to take out care in order to add it to the app. Despite what the installation instructions and support say it would not add until I took out the care package. I already had the doorbell connected using the free care package but it would not let me to add the light

Paid subscription required
No mention in the product description that a paid prescription to the cloud is required before you can connect the bulbs to the app. Perhaps this should be mentioned in writing before the unit is purchased. How many more of their products have the same or similar restrictions?

Please kindly note that connecting and using Tapo Smart Lighting products through the Tapo App does not require a paid subscription. Tapo App does not charge any subscription fee for basic app connection and control. The optional paid service we offer is Tapo Care, which is designed for cloud video recording features on compatible camera products.
