Handy smart button however requires hub
The Tapo S200B is a small, well‑built smart button that feels solid in the hand and responds quickly to taps, double taps, and twists. It’s lightweight but sturdy, with a magnetic back and adhesive mount so you can place it almost anywhere. In use, it’s very responsive and makes controlling lights, plugs, or entire scenes feel instant. Battery life is excellent thanks to its low‑power design, so you won’t be swapping cells often. The main limitation is that it needs a Tapo hub and can’t yet integrate with most third‑party smart home systems. If you’re already invested in the Tapo ecosystem, it’s a reliable and genuinely useful bit of kit that adds convenient physical control to your setup.
