2. 200-day battery life is based on Tapo laboratory tests with 270s of use per day. The time of use includes recording and watching live views. Actual battery life may vary due to device settings, usage, router specifications, and environmental factors.

This feature will launch in May with a software upgrade. 24/7 Capture enables battery-powered cameras to record continuously at low frame rate and resolution when no motion is detected, ensuring round-the-clock recording while conserving power. When motion is detected, the camera automatically switches to normal quality and frame rate, reducing missed events and false alerts.
