2. 200-day battery life is based on Tapo laboratory tests with 270s of use per day. The time of use includes recording and watching live views. Actual battery life may vary due to device settings, usage, router specifications, and environmental factors.
3. This feature will launch in May with a software upgrade. 24/7 Capture enables battery-powered cameras to record continuously at low frame rate and resolution when no motion is detected, ensuring round-the-clock recording while conserving power. When motion is detected, the camera automatically switches to normal quality and frame rate, reducing missed events and false alerts.
4. microSD card purchased separately. Actual storage capacity depends on the size of the microSD card used.
I bought a three pack of solar powered cameras. They were very easy to install for two of the cameras installed the solar panel directly with the camera on one of the cameras I elected to install the solar panel away from the camera. They were very easy to connect with my Wi-Fi and don’t seem to have any issues around the outside of my house connecting to the Wi-Fi they have been. They have been installed for about three weeks and still running at 100% as we have some summer and overcast days. I have a couple of concerns with the magnetic base in terms of theft, but it hasn’t happened so let’s see what happens.So far the 4K quality has been very good. I am very impressed with the night vision and the ability to turn on the light on the camera, which gives you a color picture as well. The. The ability to record all detections to my little hub that came with the doorbell previously. Is great as I haven’t had to go out and buy any more SD cards.
I like going back and having a look at the recordings and zooming right in and seeing who it is or reading the registration number from the driveway if I’m not familiar.
